A gentle, and sacred journey from deep within the heart. From the heart is a seven day writing journey taking us deep into ourselves through seven heart+thought provoking questions. Beginning on the New Moon in March which is just days before the Spring Equinox, which in my opinion feels much more like a new year than any other time of year.
Read MoreIt truly doesn't matter what it is that we are DOing. What matters is that we are offering our truest, realest self. What matters is that we are serving up the most potent medicine we're capable of, and that we are fiercely, and courageously complying to the guidance of heart and intuition.

Read MoreThe only reason we spend so much time judging others is because we are insecure in ourself. We look for something to feed off, to grow ourselves up; to convince ourselves WE are worthy by focussing on the darker aspects in others. We judge these aspects so harshly because we are too afraid to even consider that they are within us too. Deeply. The deeper we judge and point the finger outwardly, the deeper the pain and shame we are feeling about ourselves. We judge because we are ashamed. But there is nothing to shame. Only forgiveness, only permission, only compassion.

Read MoreWhen we go through a gateway, threshold, or shall I say, rebirth, we are different. We have matured, grown, expanded, opened, and renewed. We are fresh and in order to nourish that freshness we must freshen up our surroundings. That can (and usually does) mean clearing out physical clutter, along with decluttering internally as well. When I speak of clutter what I mean is STAGNANCY, and what that is is old energy. What do you have laying around, or shoved into corners that is holding onto energy of your old self/selves?

Read MoreIt's okay to not know why things are happening, or why they happened to you. It's okay that you didn't know what you know now back then. It's okay that it's taken this long to see how strong you are. Sometimes we need a big slap in the face to show us how strong we are, and how much we truly HAVE to listen to our intuition. And sometimes we need to go against our intuition, fall into the pain, in order for the universe to show us how much our intuition is ON fucking POINT.

Read MoreRemember validation and permission are all just relative, and a matter of perspective. It comes back to trusting our own gut, and developing a healthy practice with our intuition. It takes deep looking at our inner insecurities, and remembering that our heart is one of our biggest guides, and to trust it, is to honour our own deep power.
Read MoreThis week's theme is permission and when ponder permission I can't help but see how trust and permission are deeply connected. I am realizing that to give ourselves the permission we seek externally we must first learn how to trust ourselves. Trusting ourselves is a lost virtue these days as social media is in our face everyday with other people, doing other amazing things that make us question what we are doing, and what our worth is. I always like to say to myself "Be inspired, but trust yourself."

Read MoreBeing jealous, greedy, and selfish suck, but resisting them isn't going to release them. I believe that saying fuck it, accepting these qualities, surrendering to the fact that these qualities are apart of us is one of the best step forwards in not allowing these qualities to have power over us. Just because we pretend to not have certain qualities doesn't mean they aren't within us. I believe the best thing we can do is be honest with ourselves; to be compassionate with ourselves, and to fuckin' let go of the crazy high expectations we have of ourselves to be perfect.
Read MoreAs we enter the darkest time of the year we are being asked to go inwards, to stop what we are doing, and melt into being. This time of year is the perfect for deep reflection, especially as we are coming closer to the end of 2017. It's a chance for us to take inventory to see how far we've come compared to last year, and to take note on what we've accomplished, internally and externally. The darkness is a time to be in the presence of our own darkness, our own unknown, and learn how to navigate.

Read MoreI used to put so much pressure on myself at the beginning of projects, and working under pressure can be a good thing (to some extent) but the kind of pressure I would put on myself was filled with expectations, and attachment to certain outcomes, at certain times; again just another form of imbalance. I could never BE with my project, rather I was way too ahead of myself, looking at how quickly I could finish ( which I really never would finish because the way I worked was never sustainable). Now I ponder, "Why do I want to finish so quickly anyways?
