Herbal~Superfood Balls

Its the full moon today and what better way to celebrate than to make super energizing, healing and highly medicinal treats. These little guys are packed with so much nutrient density that they'll keep ya going for a the whole morning/afternoon.  I was looking through my cabinet full of ingredients, trying to conjure up that perfect recipe when I decided I am going to make two different kinds. 

The one on the left is mostly energizing, mood enhancing and a natural libido booster. The one on the right is packed with protein. Here's how to make them:

Pine Pollen~Goji Balls Ingredients 

Makes 10

~1/2 Cup Dates: relieves constipation, improves digestion, natural sugars, increases libido. 

~1/2 tsp Pine Pollen: Balances hormones, Helps release toxic air chemicals from cities, enhances mood, libido and will power, immune booster, treats skin conditions, anti inflammatory. 

~1 tbs Goji Berries: Known as the happy berry, high protein content, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal, boosts immune system, full of iron, builds strength, and considered a longevity herb among Traditional Chinese Medicine physicians. 

~1 Tbs Mucuna Pruriens: Natural mood enhancer, balances all three Ayurvedic Doshas(very rare), Increases libido in both men and women, treats depression, treats insomnia, smoothens skin, mental clarity.

1/4 Tsp Bee Pollen: Builds new blood, improves endurance, enhances fertility, treats allergies, heals skin conditions all over body, reduces cravings.


~ Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor and process for 2 minutes

~Roll in coconut shreds and bee pollen

~ Roll into little balls.

**I like mine cold, so i freeze them. When I want one I will just unthaw it enough for it to be super chewy. Enjoy!

Spirulina~Hemp Protein Balls Ingredients 

Makes 10

~1/2 Dates: relieves constipation, improves digestion, natural sugars, increases libido. 

~1/2 Cashews: Minerals to help grow healthy hair and skin, anti-oxidant, realaxing, builds strong bones, great for heart, relieves nervous conditions. 

~1 1/4 Tbs Spirulina: Full of usable protein, naturally rich in iodine, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, reduces blood pressure, improves endurance, helps balance blood sugar, and so much more. 

~2 Tbs Hemp Seeds: Perfect source for balance essential fatty acids, protein rich(most digestible high protein food), improves digestion, regulates cholesterol, controls blood sugar, energizes.

~1/4 tsp Chia Seeds: Loaded with antioxidant, super nutrient dense with low calories, fiber rich, high quality protein, high in essential fatty acids, high in bone nutrients, easy to use.

~1/2 Tsp Ashitaba: Blood builder and purifier, alkalizing, Vitamin B12, protein rich, beautifies skin and hair, improves digestion, antibacterial, anti-cancer, regulate blood sugar levels, strengthens immune system, adaptogen and so much more.

~1/4 Tsp Chaga: Supports immune system, regulates blood pressure, antioxidant, cancer fighter, detoxifying, adaptogen, energizing. 


~ Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor and process for 2 minutes

~Roll into little balls

~put in freezer

~serve chilled 


I hope you all enjoy this wonderful, full super moon, she is quite powerful, and healing. I am feeling oh so grounded, and absolutely blissful today. I feel fall in the air, with hints of summer smells swimming by. A day for breath, a day for gratitude, noticing the magic that mother earth and spirit have layer out for us.
